There were actually quite a few steps - I took a lot of pictures. But I've narrowed them down to significant steps.
If you look at the steps above, by the fifth photo you'll notice a more blended look. I like to blend a little more when painting glass to get that smoothness. I don't use my fingers to blend. I like using a harder pastel because not only does it blend nicely it can lay down colour at the same time. I've added a photo below to show you the harder pastels that I used.
Did you notice I like to test the colour of my pastel along the masking tape that holds the painting down :)
Finally, I pull the tape off and this little guy has a nice clean edge.
